There are many guide books available in market. Its totally my personal opinion, Golden guide books is best for social studies in class 10. However other books like full marks and together with are also good. I was very poor in social studies, golden guide really helped me a lot.
I read the NCERT once or twice but nothing got into my brain. Then I bought golden guide. My mother literally forced me to mug up all the questions and answers given in the book. And when the results were out I was just shocked. I got 9 GPA out of 10 in social studies.
